Congressional hearing scheduled today on patent jurisdictional matters

The House Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property is holding a hearing today on jurisdictional issues surrounding patent appeals and Holmes Group v. Vornado in which the Supreme Court held that the Federal Circuit does not have jurisdiction in cases in which patent issues are only raised via a counterclaim.
