House subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property continues oversight with hearings on IP theft in China and Russia
Today, the House Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property held two oversight hearings on intellectual property theft — one for China and one for Russia.
View the news advisory for both hearings: [.pdf].
Victoria Espinel, the Acting Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Intellectual Property, testified in both hearings. Espinel recently completed a tour of Asian countries in early attempts to build a coalition of nations in the international fight against pirates of intellectual property.
I’ll post prepared testimonies soon.
