Marking plate picture…can you guess the marked device?

This is a fun one. I bet this plate is the marking plate I have seen more than any other in my lifetime — probably hundreds of times in more than a hundred different places.

Can you guess what product the plate marks? I’ll give two hints –

1. Focus on the “Including 2A motor” statement. The patent number might not trigger a bell, but I’m willing to bet someone will link that statement with the device.
2. I received more than a few quizzical looks as I snapped the picture

I have left comments open, so if you have a guess, post it. Needless to say, it is not fair to pull the patent.

I’ll warn you, the patent gives the answer away in the second paragraph.
