Patent-related pictures at Promote the Progress

The new banner at the Promote the Progress site includes a thumbnail of a picture I snapped after I dropped a box containing several dozen patents on the floor of the family room in my new home. The box fell because I was trying to carry way too much as I moved boxes from one room to another in the new house (do movers ever read the notes on the side of the box?). I noticed my digital camera in the corner of the room as I was letting out a huge sigh of frustration, and I had an idea.

I enjoy digital photography and blogging, and thought it might be fun to combine these hobbies. So, I plan to post patent-related pictures to the blog. I hope to do it ‘regularly’. I’m thinking of using them in the banner, varying this element occasionally to incorporate new pictures, but will also post them to a new category — “the Pictures“.
