Patent war over plasma displays is heating up

Link: The patent battle over plasma displays has recently escalated. At the request of Fujitsu, Japanese authorities have blocked importation of Samsung displays.

Link: Fujitsu has sued Samsung in both the US and Japan on its plasma display panel (PDP) patents. The US suit filed by Fujitsu appears to be in response to a stateside declaratory judgment action filed by Samsung seeking invalidation of no less than eight (8) Fujitsu PDP patents.
