This picture is of a cast iron marking plate I bought on ebay. Apparently marking plates are a common collectible for antique hobbyists. The patent aspect of the plates is interesting to me. This plate lists several dates, and I’ve often thought about attempting to figure out what product the plate marked. Someday…
