Assistant Espinel’s testimony includes these interesting facts and figures relating to IP theft in China:
- Estimates on copyright piracy report that 90 percent of all software installed on computers in 2003 was pirated.
- Estimates also report that over 90 percent of the Chinese market for sound recordings in 2003 was made of pirated recordings.
