<description>I have a real problem with the USPTO. I got a Preliminary Patent on my product in April 2003, and applied for a final Utility Patent On 04/01/04. But ever since I've gotten the run-around. The story is too long to go through here, but even though I had to learn the entire procedure myself, as I am 71 and living on Soc. Security, so I couldn't afford an attorney, it has still cost me &#62;$1,000 and I am still waiting, after going back and forth almost 2-1/2 years. I definitely think the the USPTO needs a reform in favor of the public.
